What is the best way to do? Anyone have good links to guides or good sites? BTW I live in Long Beach, California ... thus if anyone knows any camps too

Most parents do not realize that during the summer months, essentially assuming the role of director of cruise for your family. Many children have little capacity care and can get bored very quickly. That's why parents should be armed with a wide variety of options that are fun and interesting. If children prefer outdoor activities such as canoeing Cincinnati and Little Miami canoeing and more structured activities like art class, a little planning will keep peace between parents and children. Here are many great ideas to help parents get started in planning a memorable and less stressful summer.
A resource very useful for finding summer activities is the local department of parks and recreation. Each season is set to help meet the recreational needs and education of families. They offer day camps, where children are kept busy from mom or dad leave them time to work their way up dinner. Or, they might opt for a field experience only half a day. Daily activities may include games, relay races, obstacle courses, food, arts and crafts, basketball, baseball, baseball, dodgeball and water fun.
There are plenty of other activities offered by the parks and recreation department. Children can participate in drama workshops where they perform a play for families at the end of the experiment. Children and girls can choose between one sport above all to improve or learn new skills. There's departure and the point as well as cooking classes and golf. They also offer a wide range of nature programs involving walking, looking and learning about plants and animals that can be found in local forests, lakes, ponds and streams.
The crowd more outdoor activities, a perennial favorite has always been the dream from the camp. Camps may last from night to a week or more. One can expect the usual camping activities, like boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, cooking over a campfire, archery, arts and crafts, and other fun games and sing-A-Longs. Another type of camp that seems to be very popular among girls is riding camp. Some offer accommodation at night while others offer camps during the day only. Campers learn to ride properly and riding on your own skill level, and take part in helping the bride and animal care.
If there is a zoo in the area, is definitely a good idea to look into what they offer summer programs. The Children love to be able to take a look behind the scenes at the zoo. The experience gives children the opportunity to visit all parts of the zoo and have a thorough opportunity to learn about the natural world. Children participate in a variety of fun activities and lessons designed to promote awareness on our environment. The campers will also enjoy include arts and crafts, songs, games, hands on experience of animals and group play.
Some children are happy enough to spend hour after hour in the pool. But if you need a plan of action, then be sure to investigate some of the suggestions outlined here. You'll be glad you did.
