Resorts in the south?

This spring break, March 7-14, my boyfriend and I want to have a little break between the two of us in some place in the south. We do not want to go all week, but only three or four days. Our areas of examination are: Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida and Alabama. We prefer to be at or at least near the beach. We were thinking of a tent or perhaps get a very cheap hotel or motel or something. Does anyone have any idea? We want to at least maintain it so that we are paying only about one to two hundred dollars for each one of us [so, a couple hundred to four hundred all together]. Websites would be good.
