Where is a good place to camp in Ontario?

I address the military soon and before I go I basically go on a survival camping trip for a couple of weeks. I am a camper and experienced hunter, but I've always been with someone else. Basically I want to find a place well off the road (not parks national!), very remote areas where no one will not run on or very rarely I find someone else. Anybody know some good points? Also note this will be very probably a winter camp.

I'm not sure if you want this remote, but I go to a great extent in northwestern Ontario. Its just east of Lake Nipagon, near Jellicoe. I suppose you want a base to leave the car and so on. and this place is perfect. There is a hostel called Onam River Resort which is about 30 kilometers from the road and you'd be able to get out. From there you need to get a river about 15 miles around impassible rapids a portage at the beginning and end Lake MI. But I must caution that there is no source of supply or support anywhere. If you really are interested, e-mail and I can give more details. I even have a boat, (without motor) hidden in the lake, even if not frozen. While you have other foods, you will be able to get plenty of fish, more than it could possibly need. GUARANTEED. I warn you though, it's very cold, and it is an unforgiving place if you screw up. You can not always find, if you get into trouble. But, I love it there.

The first thing that came to mind was the Crocodile Hunter - Steve Irwin Animal Planet. You could make a cleaner / Treasure Hunt - call it a "Walk About" - not cost little or nothing at all. Depending on age of children in the camp that you could make a map and would have to follow to find what was needed. You can hide things animals around the campsite area so they can find. In the end everyone can put the "animals" in their own habitat is configured in a central location (dining room). Once the "Zoo" is filled with so everyone can enjoy a treatment or get a little something as tattoos or stickers in a theme of animals. Crafts: Make rain sticks papertowel PT or tubes that can be decorated - the ends covered with paper and filled with beans or small rice - it is really fresh sound. Another TP roll craft would make binoculars. Costume Ideas cheap and easy.: Check out local flea markets or shops Second-hand to find Safari and / Outback clothing - hats would be great. I need help finding a camping chair?

I am looking for a camping chair that folds into a bag that reclines, has a footrest and headrest. I sat in one at the back door once and I loved it. My husband goes to Iraq soon and need a chair to have in his barracks that fits into a bag to the store (not a chair folding). its likely have trouble finding it because not camping season. I've seen the K-Mart, Wal-Mart. target, etc. but not in winter. maybe try their website or a website as the authority sporting goods sports, and grasslands, or kislins Bob, because stores will probably not have them in stock at this time
