camping in california with dogs
Where can I go tent in northern and central California with fire ring and canoeing and private site?

We want to go camping this weekend with a tarp. There are two and a dog, so it has to be pets. Is there a website where I can put in the search parameters and find all campsites that fit them?

I suggest you invest in a book called "Free the West Camp. It is a book that has $ 12 and campsites west of the Mississippi River. (There is also a book for the East.) The whole reason behind free camps is that they are more private and better, especially if you are bringing along dogs. Usually there is no running water or bathrooms, but also that no one is running generators at night, no radios or loud drunk rednecks well. If you are in a crisis of time and can not get the book, I suggest you call the ranger station in the forest. Also, if you have time, everything you have to do is on a cruise around the national forests, and Klamath, Lassen, Plumas, Modoc, Tahoe and Eldorado. Choose one of the sites will be free of camp along side of the gravel roads. I call the ranger station and see if you need to pick up a permit from fire or anything else that can make you do. Remember that these places are free camping, because not paying for services like running water or bathrooms. Check out the website of National Forest: http://www.fs.fed.us/ Good luck!
