Try camp Doheny State Beach in southern Orange County. It's just about Dana Point and San Clemente. Huntington Beach is all day use only. Campsites range from 20 to 50 dollars per night, depending on whether the RV connections are complete or only tent sites. They also get reserved very quickly on weekends. Good luck!

REAL easy food for a road trip!?

I am planning a long trip with friends. Probably will not have a caravan, so no microwave or oven (Other than a hotel from time to time). I need some easy meals to make, but all I can think is PB & J. .. Any idea?

Make a salad of chicken, canned chicken and add the chopped green onion, celery, mayonnaise, a splash of red wine vinegar or regulate it you have. Place in a air tight Tupperware container. Place lettuce in a zip lock bag. Buy pita, cut in half before you go and put them in a zipper bag. Place these items in a cooler with an ice pack and have chicken salad pita. I even bring along a tomato, cut with a knife. I use the top of the refrigerator, as a table to prepare the Pita. Bring the fruit. Bags of potato chips. You can make a tuna salad instead of chicken, or use instead of pita bread. Search Section frozen in your grocery store or Sam's, by Nancy Deli Spirals. All they need to thaw and serve. You can put them in the refrigerator and bring them forward. PB & J is always good. I also put cold cuts and cheese in a med sized Tupperware container, because occasionally zip lock bag does not show that is tight and the air free water leaks Making ice in a bag of supplies on hand, paper plates, a knife, a small cutting board, a roll of paper towels, spoon or a serving fork and put it in the refrigerator. Cubed cheese also makes a good appetizer and usually comes pre-cut. You can fill a container with vegetables. Caulaflour, broccoli, carrots, celery and a small Tupperware container to put your favorite vegetable sauce. How about a simple cheese spread, like cheese piminto. Buy a pre-made or make your own. Bring cookies and muffins. Terific ago snacks. As someone who has frequent road trips I can say I've done all these things. Keep the refrigerator drainage of excess water and all I have in this list will be maintained for days the time to replenish the ice once a day.
