best things to bring camping

Each has its own list of essential items for camping. I see a lot of lists targeting RV and tent camping with almost all the comforts of home. But not many that are oriented to the concept of minimum camping. That is, the campers who want to leave a mark wherever they go, and do not want to have to take a long team at your site. So here's mine. There are probably very few things that some people feel are needed are not included here (ie, radio, television, etc.), but it all depends on what you want out of their camping experience. My focus is on camping cars, with some short distance from the car to camp.

To make camping easier to install, I break it into two categories, with a plastic bag for each table. Using airtight bags offer some protection both from the rain, and perhaps most importantly-the squirrels. Everything stays in the totes until it is needed. No need to unpack everything right away. Thus there is no concern in the case of a sudden rain of having to hurry up and get everything under cover.

Tote 1 Cookware Pots and Pans-2-pans-non stick nonstick not to have a need for contribute or add cooking oil to your food. Standard -3 pots w / lids, Spatula (plastic tip)-slotted spoon to serve as fuel for camp stove, usually about six containers camp stove lighter (waterproof matches for backup)-Coffee-Metal cans with sealable lid (for sugar, etc)-Salt and Pepper Shakers (with closable lids) - Knives

Tote 2 Camp and various things

- Torches (2)

-Batteries

-Mantel

Plastic plates and reusable

-Eating utensils (reusable, not disposable)

-Tea towels

-Laundry

Dish-detergent

-SOAP-pull towels Washcloths can use, but this would not be as respectful of the environment).

Fuel torch

-Insect repellent

-First Aid Kit

Store-Stakes

-Rope

-Paper towels

-Aluminum foil

-Hammer

-STORE

Note that I do not wear sunscreen - the best protection against the sun is to cover up. I bring insect repellent for use only as a last resort, which almost never use. Also do not bring water, ice or food. All that can be purchased locally. This saves space and fuel in the vehicle on the trip. But also speeds up the setup time and reduces the need to worry about melting ice before getting there. It also allows me to use the refrigerator as storage containers. The bags of grocery store provide garbage bags, there is no need for them or buy.

Obviously, there are some things that do not fit in totes. As the lanterns, camp stove. and sleeping bags. Also bring torches 8.10. This serves as an insect repellent and gives me a great illumination at night. My hammock does not fit well in the totes. And yes, a hammock is an essential element for camping. Bed linen and towels simply go in duffel bags.

That's my list. I know some people say that I forgot to air mattresses and pillows, but I did not. Wear clothing that is folded as pillow if necessary. I really do not wrinkle them and, while saving space. As I prefer the feeling of sleeping on the ground, air mattresses are out.
